Traces of our roots

In 1986, after the restoration of the democratic form of government by the President Corazon C. Aquino, a new set of officials were inducted into office. Thereafter, the municipal council toyed with the idea of transferring the Local Water System to the Masantol Water District thru the prodding of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), thus the birth of Masantol Water District. Upon the issuance of the CONDITIONAL CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMANCE (CCC No. 320) by the LWUA on November 19, 1987, operations readily commenced with Mr. Wilfrido A. Pineda, a member of Sangguniang Bayan at that time, as the appointed acting General Manager.
